Building a digital platform for a global healthcare NGO requires navigating diverse languages, varying levels of digital literacy, unreliable connectivity in remote areas, and the need to communicate complex health programmes to multiple stakeholder groups simultaneously. Our challenge was designing a platform that could serve both community members seeking health information and institutional partners coordinating outreach programmes — all within one coherent digital experience. We built a modular content architecture that allows regional teams to maintain localised content while the global organisation maintains brand and mission consistency. The emergency response coordination features required real-time data handling with fallback protocols for low-connectivity environments. Partnership and grant documentation workflows were built to support the complex reporting requirements of international NGO operations. Accessibility was a core design principle — ensuring the platform is usable by community health workers with basic digital skills.
